I have assembled a few guitars from kits purchased online. I’ve been working on my staining techniques, wiring, and finishing, and have two such instruments.
“Phoenix” is a 6-string electric bass tuned like a Fender VI (E-A-D-G-B-e, an octave below guitar). Red-orange-yellow.
“Poseidon” is a 6-string electric guitar with Golden Age pickups, and Graphtec Ratio tuners. I upgraded the wiring to including independent volume/tone controls for each pickup without drilling additional holes. Turquoise to deep blue with a black burst, and a rich purple back.
